The Melcom Care, a philanthropic arm of Melcom Group of Companies has put smiles on the faces of inmates at the Osu Children’s Home with highly nutritious consumables worth thousands of Ghana Cedis.
The drinks and biscuits presented are: 8 boxes of Pantanjali Herbal Powervita 200G, 26 boxes of Pantanjali Herbal Powervita 500G and 20 Twist Sandwich 33G, totaling about 4,000 pieces for these children.
The Communications Director at Melcom, Godwin Avenorgbo told gbcghanaonline.com that, the increasing support for the vulnerable groups in society is in line with “the Group’s continued efforts to alleviate the suffering the dreadful COVID-19 has brought to the world”.
He however, expressed happiness about the fact that the Management and Staff of the facility have been complying with government’s COVID-19 protocols aimed at preventing the spread of the virus.
In attendant to support The Groups” Communication Team, was the Director of Brand Management, Ms. Sonya Sadhwani.
Manageress of the facility, Patricia Norman was grateful to Melcom for the support and pledged to ensure that all the children under her care get their share of the donated products.
She called on other benevolent bodies to support them.
