The NDC Parliamentary Candidate for Ketu South Constituency has interacted with The Local Council of Churches within The Constituency on Monday August 24th, 2020 to mark a year of ‘PC-ship’.
Speaking at the separate meetings with them, Abla Dzifa Gomashie, thanked The Church Leaders for their prayers for The Nation and the good works that they have been doing in The Area.
She indicated that she was seeking God’s face for the up-coming general elections as August 24th marked a year since she won the Parliamentary Candidate race on the ticket of the NDC.
She appealed to the pastors to use their pulpits to encourage and inspire hope, shape and guide the direction in which the youth should go to bring about the socio-economic change needed for the development of the Constituency.
She expressed her appreciation to the pastors for honouring the invitation to join the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Ketu South welcome President John Dramani Mahama during his recent tour of the Volta Region and specifically his engagement in Ketu South.
Madam Gomashie also made a special request for the youth and people of the Constituency by stressing that, “we must all go out in our numbers and vote for the NDC for better Ghana”.
The Pastors prayed for Gods’ protection for The PC and advised that “the peace of Ketu South be maintained during and after elections”.
They also wished the former Deputy Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts well in the upcoming general elections.
