What could be best be described as “super Tuesday” for Volta Region is here as Thirteen (13) able persons appeared on the ballot paper for election of Council of State slated for tomorrow at the Regional Capital, Ho.
Latest information available to this portal has it that, all Candidates are currently in Ho, wrapping up campaign on person-to-person just secured at least simply majority of four (4) votes if all the candidates are get a vote or two(2) at the end of poll.
Currently, it’s unclear who is leading but social media visibility of candidates project Kwamigah-Atople to emerge victorious if current development stands.
EC is set to be ready and the venue, as if today said to be the same for the programme to commence by 7am where all Candidates are expected to be sitted before, commencement voting.
And, in order notice of poll, the Thirteen Candidates appeared in the following order: Dr. Wuaku David Kofi, Felix Latey, Gibbrilla Buhari, Ing. Worlali Kwabla Ameevor, Gabriel Adovoe Kwabla Kwamigah-Atople, Torgbuiga Adamah III and Togbi Kpemini Gawu.
The rest are: Azi Ganyo, Havi Delasi justice, Hirchffs Atengnle, Godwin Yayra Nkwawu, Amegashie Godsisgood and Re. Cephas Kodzo Dzidzienyo
The Electoral Commission is set to organize a nationwide exercise tomorrow, 11th February, to hold the 2025 Council of State Elections by Paragraph (C), Clause (2) of Article 89 of the 1992 Constitution, to elect Regional Representatives to be held in all Regional Capitals at venues to be determined by the Commission.
